I've lurked forever, been in and out, but now I've got some irons in the fire.
I'm trying to do more daily illustrations to bulk out my rendering skills, but my focus is normally on narrative as a writer first. I could do art trades for lizards or something I guess but I want to improve before committing to too much.
Primarily I'm working on an animatic for a pilot about space cops, and writing other projects on the side. My goal is to finish timing/voices/framing and probably end there. Animating entirely independently is awesome, but as someone with less visual-focus I lose interest after the frameworks there. Will it change? Probably not, we'll see if I can reach this goal first.
Lastly I'm trying to finally become a member of the community, we'll see. I've been a fan since I was a wee kid watching offensive 9/11 videos way too early. Since then I've been to animation school and spent a lot of time brooding. Maybe I can shake the rust off this time. I have a long history of bugging out when more than 3 people pay attention to me so maybe throw a blanket over me and let me lurk as usual, we'll see.
